About Our Volunteers

For 37 years we have welcomed volunteers from Bragg Creek, Redwood Meadows, Cochrane and Calgary. They have ranged in age from 10 to 70+ years young. Some have served as volunteers for 30 years, which is quite an achievement.

Not only do we present our own concert series we often help other organizations with their music events, including Bragg Creek Community Association, and Cochrane Humane Society to name just two. We also hold occasional house concerts and potluck suppers, visit other venues to review acts before they appear on our stage, and attend the annual Alberta Artists Showcase. During this conference held over a long weekend in October we participate in various workshops, interface with other presenting organizations and meet and review showcasing artists.

In short we have fun together at our concert series and outside of that. We have opportunities for volunteers in all kinds fields requiring all kinds of skills. These could be skills that you already have, or skills that you can acquire by working with us.

If you have a little spare time each week, or maybe only on the day of a concert, we have opportunities to suit. Whichever role or task you might take on our volunteers can always enjoy the wide variety of entertainment that we present at each concert. Better yet, our volunteers are able experience others joy and delight as they leave for home following one of our events.

Please join us for our totally legal “high” that lasts beyond the end of each concert.
